they low balled us.

after 8 months of looking for work, we finally got an offer. it was for housewares department manager at the burbank urban outfitters. but they offered much less then we would be able to live on. so Jesus closed that door pretty clearly. we aren't too bummed out, cuz we know that it wasn't where we are suppose to be. but its still lame that we still have to wait. but moses waited a lot longer then this for things to happen.. so we're in good company.

like i should have expected anything else. haha

well naz had his second interview today and he said it went really well. the guy he met with was really nice and they got along great. we are still unsure of where the position would be, or even if he could stay here in san diego, but he was told that he would get a call soon. so we wait some more. thats been our life for the last few years.

- to get out of school

- to have kids

- to move out

- to live in a house.

- to not have to hoard quarters for laundry (what a luxury it would be to have my own washer and dryer in the place i live. ahhh)

- to find a job

- to know where your going to live

- to know what you'll be doing in life

i know there's more.. cuz we also can't wait to start doing the things we've been wanting to do. naz has been wanting to take jujitsu.. and i've been wanting to finish my bible college degree online. and all the other things that settling down entail.

2nd interview

naz's interview went well. we drove the 2 1/2 hours up to thousand oaks and then right after drove thru traffic home. it was a bit rough... but we did it.

the interview went well, they talked for about an hour... and in the end said that they would call either way. naz said he didn't feel incredibly comfortable, but that he thought it well enough.

we were prepared to wait the two weeks for the call, but naz got a call from the store manager in burbank.. and he wants to meet naz face to face. we aren't sure if its just a second interview for the store in ventura, or thousand oaks, or if its for a job in burbank.

this interview will be this tuesday. so please pray for the next trip up, and for some answers as to where the Lord wants us.

we are definitely getting antsy. and want to get on with the new chapter in our life.

well just after a moment of panic on my end.. praying "Lord.. what are we going to do!" naz called and said that urban outfitters emailed him for an interview. it might not have been naz's first choice.. but beggers can't be choosers, and at least its something. there are many benefits to the job, and if this is God's will, thats what we want. the interview is on the 12th, so if you could keep it in prayer.. that would be rad. we'll get to have dinner with our good friends jen and jon that night, which will be tons o fun.
